Milk Education is seeking enthusiastic Creative Classroom Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in welcoming primary schools throughout Sunderland and South Tyneside.
Opportunities are available on both a part-time and full-time basis, with flexible supply work, long-term placements and permanent opportunities available. We are also supporting a number of partner schools with their September recruitment plans, making this a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain classroom experience or secure their next long-term role.

The Role
As a Creative Classroom Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and enriching learning experiences for pupils across primary age groups. Your creativity, energy and positive attitude will help create an environment where children feel motivated, supported and ready to succeed.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
- Delivering creative interventions and engaging learning experiences
- Working with small groups or individual pupils to boost confidence and attainment
- Encouraging participation through creative, practical and interactive activities
- Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environment
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
