Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious and qualified Teacher to join an exceptional Primary school in Slough! The suitable candidate needs to be resilient, friendly and passionate about supporting children with SEMH needs. Class Teacher Roles & Responsibilities
- Have a good, up-to-date working knowledge and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies and know how to use and adapt them, including how to personalise learning to provide opportunities for all learners to achieve their potential.
- Hold positive values and attitudes and adopt high standards of behaviour in their professional role.
- To organise the classroom, its resources, pupil groupings and displays in order to provide a stimulating learning environment.
- Manage the learning of individuals, groups and whole classes effectively, modifying their teaching appropriately to suit the stage of the lesson and the needs of the learners.
Class Teacher Must Haves
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Successful teaching experience in Primary.
- Degree / specialism in Science
- Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies and proven experience of their success
- Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing when working with children, and when communicating with parents, other staff and governors where appropriate.
- Strong behaviour management and experience with SEMH / SEN needs
