Milk Education is recruiting compassionate and dedicated SEND Teachers to work across Specialist and SEND settings in Bradford from September.
Our partner schools support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs and Speech & Language needs.
This is an excellent opportunity to join inclusive educational settings where personalised learning and pupil wellbeing are at the heart of everything they do.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment.
- Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to EHCP outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and external professionals.
- Support pupils’ communication, independence and life skills.
- Monitor progress and celebrate individual achievements.
- Promote positive behaviour using trauma-informed approaches.
- Build strong relationships with families and multi-disciplinary teams.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND is desirable.
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.
- Patient, adaptable and resilient.
- Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- SEN qualifications or specialist training are advantageous but not essential.
