Milk Education are working in partnership with an inclusive primary school in Wandsworth who are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join their team from September.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who wants to make a genuine difference to pupils with additional needs.

The school is looking for someone who can create a structured, nurturing and engaging learning environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their potential.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism and communication needs.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to suit individual learning needs.
  • Monitor, assess and record pupil progress.
  • Work closely with the SENDCo, Teaching Assistants and wider support team.
  • Promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils.
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience teaching pupils with SEND.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Patient, adaptable and nurturing approach.
  • Passionate about improving outcomes for children with additional needs.
