Cover Teacher – Mainstream Secondary School (North Leeds) Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm Start Date: ASAP / 1st December 2025 / 5th January 2026 Contract: Temporary to Permanent (following successful probation) Milk Education are working with a well-established mainstream secondary school in North Leeds , supporting students aged 11–16. We are seeking a reliable, adaptable Cover Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across a variety of subjects and ensure continuity of learning when permanent teachers are absent. About the Role As a Cover Teacher, you will: Deliver planned lessons across multiple subjects following schemes of work. Maintain classroom management, engagement, and behaviour standards. Support the learning and progress of all pupils , ensuring lessons run smoothly in the teacher’s absence. Build positive relationships with students , acting as a role model and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment. Provide feedback on lessons and pupil progress to the regular teacher where required. We Are Looking For: A flexible and proactive individual with strong classroom management skills. Someone who is confident, calm, and professional , able to adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups.
