Secondary Supply Teacher – Durham We are seeking dedicated Secondary Supply Teachers to work across schools in the Durham area. This fulfilling role involves delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils of varying abilities, and helping create a calm, productive classroom where every student feels valued and motivated to learn. You’ll work closely with school leadership and teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning and provide a supportive presence for students across a range of subjects. 🕒 Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (flexible supply work) 💰 Pay: £150 – £265 per day (depends on experience) 💡 What You Need Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching in a secondary school setting Strong classroom management and communication skills The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff A proactive, professional attitude and commitment to inclusive education The ability to provide two recent references 🎯 Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects to year groups from KS3 to KS5 or subject specialism Create a positive, structured learning environment Support pupils’ academic progress and engagement Adapt teaching approaches to suit a variety of learning needs Maintain excellent behaviour management Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity for learners Provide feedback on pupil progress where required 🌈 Why Join Milk Education?
