We are recruiting for Learning Support Assistants in the Walkden area, to work on a flexible basis, 2-5 days a week, starting ASAP!
What does a Graduate Learning Support Assistant do?
- Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis to ensure they are succeeding both academically and pastorally, responding to their individual needs.
- Working alongside class teachers and other school staff, providing essential additional support.
- Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students, improving the whole school learning journey.
- Delivering catch-up and intervention sessions.
What will you need for this job?
- Based within a commutable distance to Walkden.
- Clear desire to work with children and young people.
- Previous experience working with children and young people would be beneficial, but not essential. Experience working within care, fostering, tutoring, coaching are all desirable!
- Willingness to undertake relevant CPD training as required by Milk Education and your placement school.
