Milk Education is delighted to be working with a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Rotherham to recruit an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring teacher who is passionate about languages and culture, and who is committed to helping students develop the confidence to communicate in another language.

The successful candidate will teach MFL across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, cultural awareness, and a love of language learning.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering creative and engaging MFL lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Inspiring students to develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a modern foreign language
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every learner feels supported and challenged
  • Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing targeted interventions where needed
  • Preparing students for assessments and GCSE examinations
  • Promoting an appreciation of different cultures and global perspectives through language learning
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and contribute to departmental development
  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and participation in every lesson

About You

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages at secondary level
  • Has excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for language learning
  • Can motivate and engage students of all abilities
  • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Has excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one through Milk Education
