Milk Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a high-achieving secondary school and sixth form in East London to recruit a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher for a part-time position (4 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to join a supportive and ambitious department, delivering engaging Psychology lessons at Key Stage 5 and inspiring students to develop a deeper understanding of human behaviour, cognition, and mental health.
The Role
- Plan and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons that challenge and engage learners.
- Teach Psychology at A-Level, ensuring excellent progress and outcomes for students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with departmental and school expectations.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Psychology at Key Stage 5.
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Psychology.
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is committed to raising attainment and supporting all students to reach their full potential.
- Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
