1:1 Teaching Assistant Positions - Redhill and Caterham Areas – immediate start/September Fixed-Term Contracts. Milk Education is seeking to appoint caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support a pupil needing nurturing and development. This rewarding role will involve providing personalised support to the named child throughout their time at the school.
In addition to providing one-to-one support, the successful candidates will also deliver small group interventions and work collaboratively with staff to ensure every child can thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored 1:1 support for the named pupil across the curriculum
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement individual learning plans
- Deliver targeted small group interventions
- Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing, independence, and confidence
- Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning where appropriate
- Has experience working with children with SEND (desirable but not essential)
- Is patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic
- Can work flexibly to meet a range of learning and emotional needs
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Is committed to helping children achieve their full potential
