About the Role

Are you a Criminology Graduate looking to apply your studies to real-world experience? This SEMH Teaching Assistant position allows you to support young people who require behavioural and emotional guidance in specialist educational settings. You’ll work with teachers and pastoral teams to provide targeted support and promote engagement in learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide SEMH and behaviour support to pupils.
  • Encourage personal growth and positive social skills.
  • Assist teachers in creating inclusive classrooms.

What We’re Looking For

  • Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Youth & Community Work, or related fields.
  • Non-graduates with relevant experience in youth work, mentoring, or social care are also encouraged to apply.
  • A strong interest in working with young people who are at risk of entering the criminal justice system.
