Milk Education are working with a welcoming and creative secondary school in the Liverpool L17 area who are urgently seeking a Qualified Music Teacher to join their team. This fantastic school is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who can deliver inspiring Music lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The Role

As the school’s Music Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to KS3 & KS4 students
  • Plan and prepare creative schemes of work that encourage students’ musical development
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to support learners of all abilities
  • Take responsibility for classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support with extracurricular music activities, performances, and events
  • Contribute to the wider creative arts department
Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching Music in a UK secondary school
  • A strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Music education
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
