We’re looking for an enthusiastic PPA Cover Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Prudhoe, delivering planned lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 while class teachers complete their PPA time.
About the Role
As a PPA Cover Teacher, you’ll
- Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2 classes.
- Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners.
- Follow school behaviour policies and classroom routines.
- Provide feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and learning.
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff across the school.
About You
We’re looking for teachers who are
- Qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Experienced in teaching within primary education.
- Confident teaching across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Flexible, organised, and able to adapt to different classroom settings.
- Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality learning experiences.
- Hold (or are willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
