We’re currently seaching for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join Primary Schools based in North Durham starting in September.
You’ll be joining welcoming schools that put wellbeing and community at the center of everything they do.

Primary Teaching Assistant – Main Responsibilities
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support tailored to pupils’ individual learning needs
- Fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued, respected, and included
- Assisting with the delivery of targeted intervention and catch‑up sessions to help pupils bridge learning gaps
Primary Teaching Assistant – Requirements or Skills
- Passion for working with children
- Recent experience working in a school or education setting (preferred)
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands‑on experience (preferred)
