We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our Outstanding primary school, supporting pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about early childhood development and eager to work in a supportive, high-performing school environment.

About the Role
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support learning and development within the EYFS setting. You will help create a nurturing, engaging environment where children can thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils
Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development
Observe, record, and contribute to assessments of pupil progress
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
Requirements
Relevant Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable)
Experience working in an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
A caring, patient, and proactive approach
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
High expectations for pupil development and wellbeing
