We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Primary ECT (Early Career Teacher) to join a supportive team within a primary school in Bolton, from September 2025. This nurturing primary school is well located by various transport links across the City and has an onsite car park. The school boasts enthusiastic children, dedicated and hardworking staff, and a supportive governing body and parents.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • To ensure high quality education for all pupils in a designated class and improve the quality of learning and raise attainment
  • To carry out and meet the professional standards for teachers
  • Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils.
  • Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils including those with SEND
  • Administer end of Key Stage testing and assessment where appropriate
  • Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment for pupils, rooted in mutual respect

Non-negotiables:

  • Must have a primary teaching degree with QTS
  • Must be able to provide a minimum of two references within the past two years
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Β£135.00-Β£165.00 per day
