Milk Education is looking for experienced teachers and tutors to work with children and young people who are out of school — including those with SEN and in vulnerable circumstances — on a flexible, 1‑1 basis across Haringey, Camden and Islington. No packed classrooms. No Ofsted pressure. Just you, one student, and the chance to make a real difference.

The role

  • Deliver personalised 1‑1 sessions tailored to each young person’s needs
  • Re‑engage pupils who have been out of education and help rebuild their confidence
  • Bridge gaps in learning and boost attainment at the student’s own pace
  • Work flexibly — you choose your availability, sessions are 1–3 hours

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher: QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
  • 6+ months’ experience in a UK school
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years
  • Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential)
