Calling all Graduates local to Oldham. Are you a graduate looking to gain school-based experience before embarking on a career in teaching or the education sector? Do you have a passion for working with young people and making a positive impact on their school journey?
Milk Education are currently working with Primary schools throughout Oldham that are looking to appoint Graduates on a full-time basis. You will be working with children that require both academic and pastoral support to ensure they are reaching their expected levels of progress. You will have the opportunity to work with children on a 1:1 basis and on a group basis providing tailored intervention sessions as well as supporting full class teachers in the classroom. There will also be opportunities to cover lessons gaining invaluable experience prior to starting a PGCE or schools direct teacher training programme.
We are looking for aspiring teachers who have graduated in any of the following subjects:
- Maths
- English
- Science
- Humanities (History, Geography, RE)
- Languages
- Art and Design
- Psychology or Social Sciences
- Sport & Physical Activity
- Open to any subject
If you are a graduate with a passion for working with young people and have aspirations to work in education or become a future teacher we welcome your application.
Key criteria:
- Must have a university degree 2:2 or above
- Previous experience of working with young people would be beneficial but not essential
- Clear desire to work with young people and become a teacher in the future
- Must be able to provide a minimum of two references within the past two years
- Willingness to undertake CPD training as asked by Milk Education and your placement school
