Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious English Teacher to join a modern Secondary School in Rochdale to work on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible! You’ll be joining an inclusive school focused on literacy development and creative expression. This is an exciting role for a new or experienced English Teacher to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
- Delivering high-quality English Language and Literature lessons
- Promoting a love for reading and inclusion for all students
- Delivering catch-up sessions for students needing extra literacy support
- Working with the class teacher in lesson planning and evaluating work plans
Essential Qualifications:
- Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting
- Must hold QTS or a relevant teaching degree
- Must possess excellent literacy skills
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the department lead
