Nursery Practitioner – Level 3 (Early Years) Location: Leeds Start Date: Immediate trial days available – potential for permanent role after 12 weeks Milk Education are seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join one of our welcoming early years settings in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner to become part of a caring, creative, and supportive team committed to giving every child the best start in life. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework, supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that nurtures curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. Carry out regular observations and assessments, contributing to each child’s learning journey and progress record. Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for children. Provide high-quality personal care—feeding, toileting, and changing—while maintaining each child’s dignity and comfort. Promote positive behaviour and social skills through gentle guidance and effective communication. Ensure all policies, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety standards are followed at all times. Requirements Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or equivalent (essential). Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting. Good understanding of the EYFS, early childhood development, and inclusive practice. Warm, caring, and patient personality with a genuine passion for early education.
