We’re currently recruiting for a Year 3/4 Teacher to join a welcoming Primary School in Nottingham on a long-term basis starting in September. You’ll be joining a supportive and ambitious school that values inclusion, achievement and pupil wellbeing. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT looking for a rewarding role within Key Stage 2.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 3/4 curriculum
  • Creating an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
  • Supporting pupils with different abilities and learning needs
  • Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations
  • Working closely with teaching assistants and the wider school team
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and parents
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school

Requirements or Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent primary teaching experience, ideally within KS2
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
