We’re currently recruiting for a Secondary Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Nottingham on a full-time basis, starting October.

You’ll be joining a welcoming and ambitious school that places a strong emphasis on high standards, inclusion, and student achievement.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Maths department where you’ll be supported to deliver engaging lessons and make a lasting impact on students’ progress.

Your main responsibilities will include

  • Delivering high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students in line with the national curriculum.
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ mathematical knowledge, reasoning, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Assessing student progress and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental and whole‑school objectives.
  • Encouraging students to achieve their full academic potential and develop confidence in Mathematics.
  • Upholding the values and professional standards of Milk Education and our partner schools.

Requirements or Skills

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A specialism in Mathematics with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to engage learners of varying abilities.
  • A commitment to raising standards and supporting student achievement.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education).
