Class Teacher – Year 3/4 – Primary School – Nottinghamshire
Milk Education are recruiting for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Class Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Nottinghamshire, teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class from September 2026 on a long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher who is confident teaching across Key Stage 2 and is passionate about creating an engaging, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. The successful candidate will have strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential.
You’ll be joining a supportive school community where you will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality teaching and learning, while supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
- Teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class
- Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and consistently
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Using assessment information to inform future planning
- Supporting pupils with SEND and adapting learning where required
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
- Supporting pupils’ academic, personal, social, and emotional development
- Contributing to the wider life and development of the school
- Ensuring safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed consistently
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent and relevant experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Experience teaching KS2 is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons
- A genuine passion for primary education and children’s development
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
- ECTs may be considered depending on experience and suitability
