Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, enthusiastic Wrap Around Care Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Nottingham on a long-term basis starting in September 2026.

Hours: 7-9 am (leading breakfast club) and 3-6 pm (leading after-school club).

You'll be joining a modern, inclusive, and supportive school environment that actively champions values such as diversity and equality, ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to thrive.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and creating a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment before and after the school day.

  • Providing high-quality care and supervision for children during breakfast and/or after-school club sessions.
  • Planning and delivering fun, creative, and age-appropriate activities.
  • Promoting inclusion and encouraging positive relationships between pupils.
  • Supporting children's social, emotional, and physical development through play.
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times.
  • Preparing and serving light snacks in line with school policies.
  • Helping to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment.

Recent experience working with children in a school, childcare, nursery, or wrap around care setting is essential.

Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.

Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, Playwork, or a related field is essential.
