Milk Education are partnered with a fantastic Primary School in North Tyneside who are looking for a Classroom Assistant to work with children to support their needs and other general classroom support under the guidance of the class teacher. The role will be full time, from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.
As a Classroom Assistant you will:
- Provide a happy, secure and caring learning environment where everyone thrives feeling safe, confident, valued and the wellbeing of each and every individual is a priority.
- Encourage and inspire all pupils to achieve their true potential academically, socially, emotionally and physically through inclusive practice.
- Inspire children to be creative, collaborative and to achieve their full potential.
The Role:
- Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals.
- Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs as a Classroom Assistant.
- Support children 1:1.
- Care about children’s learning, behaviour, emotional wellbeing and development.
- Be proactive in helping students that need support during lessons.
Requirements:
- Available to work 08:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday.
- Experience working as a Classroom Assistant/Teaching Assistant or other relevant experience.
- Available full time and on a long term basis.
