Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in local schools?
We’re currently growing our team of Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools across North Durham and the surrounding areas.
Whether you’re an experienced TA, a recent Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant graduate, or have experience working with children through care, coaching or youth work, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll have the opportunity to
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Assist teachers with engaging classroom activities.
- Support children with a range of additional needs, including SEND.
- Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Gain experience in a variety of local schools while choosing when you work.
- What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable but not essential).
- A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
