Milk Education is recruiting an enthusiastic Inclusion Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Newcastle from September 2026.
The school is looking for someone who is passionate about ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.
You’ll work closely with teachers and the SEND team to support pupils with a range of additional learning, communication and social needs.
The Role
- Provide classroom, small group and 1:1 support
- Help pupils overcome barriers to learning
- Support children with SEND, SEMH and speech & language needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and parents where appropriate
- Promote an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive
About You
- Experience working with children is desirable
- Caring, patient and resilient
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about inclusive education
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
