We’re currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to work across secondary schools in Middlesbrough. These roles involve supporting students with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential within the classroom environment. Both full-time and part-time positions are available on a long-term temporary/supply basis.

The Role:

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
  • Assisting pupils with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs
  • Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support
  • Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independence
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school setting
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for supporting students with additional needs
  • Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential
