We’re currently recruiting for an MFL Teacher to join a Secondary School in Manchester on a long‑term basis starting in September. You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school that places a strong emphasis on student wellbeing and community engagement, creating a positive environment where both staff and students can thrive. What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
- Delivering engaging French and Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
- Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress to support achievement and attainment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to plan, adapt and deliver high‑quality lessons
- Encouraging confidence and enthusiasm for language learning through creative and interactive teaching approaches
Essential Qualifications:
- Must have recent and relevant experience teaching French and Spanish within a secondary school setting
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
- Must possess excellent communication, organisational and behaviour management skills
