Milk Education is seeking passionate and dedicated SEND Teachers to join a specialist school in Wythenshawe from September. We are currently recruiting for multiple SEND Teacher opportunities within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, making this an excellent opportunity for teachers who are passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and SEMH needs.

With small class sizes of just 5–7 pupils, you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, deliver a personalised curriculum and make a genuine difference to every learner’s educational journey. Teaching a primary model curriculum within a secondary setting, this role is ideal for SEND Teachers, Primary Teachers or Secondary Teachers who enjoy adapting learning, thinking creatively and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

The successful SEND Teacher will take on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of every learner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils within KS3 and KS4
  • Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND and SEMH
  • Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to maximise outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, families and multi‑agency professionals to support pupil development

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and/or SEMH needs
  • Confident delivering engaging and differentiated learning to meet a wide range of needs
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A compassionate, patient and resilient approach to teaching
  • A genuine passion for helping every learner achieve their full potential
  • ECTs with a passion for SEND are encouraged to apply

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting salary will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the school.
