Have you built a successful recruitment career and are ready for your next challenge?
Perhaps you've spent years building desks, developing clients and consistently billing, but the part of the job you've always enjoyed most is coaching others, sharing your knowledge and seeing people succeed.
At Milk Education, we're looking for someone who's walked the walk in an agency. Someone who understands what it takes to become a successful recruiter and is passionate about developing the next generation of consultants.
If you're ready to step away from running a desk and into a role where your success is measured by the success of others, we'd love to hear from you.
About Milk Education
At Milk Education, we specialise in recruiting Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Early Years professionals into schools across the UK.
We're proudly independent, purpose-driven and growing at an exciting pace, with nine offices nationwide and ambitious plans for further expansion.
As we continue to grow, investing in our people has never been more important.
That's where you come in.
Reporting directly to our Learning & Development Manager, you'll become an integral part of our Learning & Development team, helping to develop consultants at every stage of their journey—from brand-new trainees taking their first steps in recruitment to experienced consultants looking to elevate their performance.
Your role won't just be delivering training. You'll coach, mentor, challenge and inspire people to become the very best recruiters they can be.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging induction training that gives every new starter the best possible start.
- Coach consultants through every stage of the recruitment lifecycle, from candidate generation through to business development and account management.
- Support new consultants throughout their first three months, building confidence, capability and consistency.
- Deliver one-to-one coaching, desk-side mentoring and interactive workshops.
- Work closely with Branch Managers to identify development opportunities and build tailored coaching plans.
- Monitor KPIs, quality standards and performance, using data to drive meaningful improvements.
- Carry out quality audits and ensure recruitment best practice is consistently embedded across the business.
- Coach experienced consultants to improve performance, increase productivity and maximise their potential.
- Celebrate success, recognise progress and provide constructive feedback where needed.
- Help create a culture where continuous learning and development are part of everyday life.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who genuinely loves helping people grow.
You'll probably be the person in your branch who people naturally go to for advice. The one who enjoys sharing ideas, supporting colleagues and celebrating other people's success just as much as your own.
You'll have:
- A proven track record of building and developing a successful recruitment desk, ideally within education recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of the full 360 recruitment process.
- The ability to command a room and engage people from the moment you start speaking.
- Outstanding communication and coaching skills.
- Natural confidence and credibility that earns respect quickly.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt your coaching style to different personalities.
- A positive, energetic approach that motivates and inspires others.
- The confidence to challenge behaviours while maintaining strong relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- A genuine passion for learning, development and helping others achieve their potential.
- A full UK driving licence, with the flexibility to travel between our branches.
Why Join Milk Education?
This is a rare opportunity to leave a lasting impact on a growing national business.
Instead of building one successful desk, you'll help build successful recruiters.
You'll influence careers, shape future leaders and play a key role in creating one of the best recruitment training programmes in the education recruitment sector.
If you're passionate about developing people, raising standards and creating high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.
