Milk Education is looking for a dedicated and passionate Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child’s early learning journey while enjoying flexible working hours to suit your schedule.

You’ll be working in a nurturing community school alongside a supportive and experienced team. The role involves providing 1:1 support to a Reception pupil with ASD, helping them to thrive both academically and socially within the classroom environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the inclusion and wellbeing of all pupils in the classroom.
  • Providing 1:1 tailored support to a Reception pupil with ASD.
  • Assisting with lesson planning, evaluation, and delivery alongside the class teacher.
  • Delivering engaging catch-up and intervention sessions where needed.
  • Helping create a positive and stimulating learning environment for all children.

Requirements:

  • Recent and relevant experience within an education or childcare setting, ideally supporting children with SEN.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or equivalent) – or relevant practical experience.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young learners and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Ability to work effectively under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
