MFL Teacher / ECT in Manchester

We’re currently recruiting for an MFL Teacher to join a Secondary School in Manchester on a long‑term basis starting in September. What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

• Delivering engaging French and Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
• Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress to support achievement and attainment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to plan, adapt and deliver high‑quality lessons
• Encouraging confidence and enthusiasm for language learning through creative and interactive teaching approaches

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have recent and relevant experience teaching French and Spanish within a secondary school setting
• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
• Must possess excellent communication, organisational and behaviour management skills
