Milk Education is seeking caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in South & Central Manchester. We are recruiting for a variety of Learning Support Assistant opportunities, including long-term, short-term, flexible, full-time, part-time and permanent roles. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced LSAs, Teaching Assistants, SEN Teaching Assistants, Support Workers and those looking to develop their experience working within education.
As an LSA, you’ll provide valuable support to pupils who may require additional help with their learning, communication, behaviour or development. Working alongside teachers and wider school staff, you’ll help pupils access the curriculum, develop independence and feel confident within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional learning needs
- Assist pupils in accessing classroom activities and the wider curriculum
- Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
- Work closely with teachers to adapt activities and provide appropriate learning support
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement with learning
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Support Worker or in a similar role is welcomed
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD or additional learning needs is desirable
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications are welcomed but not essential

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
