Milk Education is seeking caring, enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Practitioners to work across a range of primary schools and early years settings throughout South Manchester from September. We are looking to connect with experienced EYFS Practitioners, Early Years Educators, Nursery Practitioners, Nursery Nurses and Early Years Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting young children during the important early stages of their education. With a wide range of schools and opportunities available, we’re open to speaking with candidates looking for long-term positions, short-term work, flexible hours, part-time roles or permanent opportunities. Whether your experience is within a nursery, reception classroom, early years setting or primary school, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
  • Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
  • Support children’s communication, language, social and emotional development
  • Observe children’s progress and contribute to assessments and learning records
  • Encourage children’s independence, confidence and curiosity
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and wider school staff
  • Work alongside teachers and early years teams to provide consistent support

What We’re Looking For:

  • Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Early Years Education qualification is desirable
  • Previous experience working with children in an EYFS, nursery or primary setting
  • Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to support children’s individual learning and developmental needs
  • A genuine passion for helping young children learn and develop

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
