Milk Education is seeking passionate and enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work across a range of primary schools in South Manchester, Trafford and Stockport from September. We work closely with a variety of welcoming and supportive schools that are looking for motivated ECTs to begin or continue their teaching journey across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Whether you’re looking for a long-term placement, your first teaching role, day-to-day flexibility, or the opportunity to gain experience in different school settings, we’d love to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to develop their skills, build confidence in the classroom, and make a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development, with the support of experienced school staff and dedicated consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing
- Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback where appropriate
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
- Establish positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers
- Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school activities when required
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and pupil outcomes
What We’re Looking For:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS before September
- Must be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to secure teaching opportunities within primary education
- A strong understanding of the primary curriculum across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A positive, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively as part of a team
