Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Headteacher and wider Senior Leadership Team
- Leading on school improvement and raising pupil outcomes
- Providing strategic leadership across curriculum, behaviour, SEND or pastoral areas
- Supporting staff development and effective teaching and learning
- Promoting high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare
- Using data and evidence to identify areas for development
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider school community
- Contributing to the school’s strategic vision and development
What We’re Looking For:
- QTS or recognised equivalent where required
- Current or recent experience in a school leadership or middle leadership role
- Strong understanding of school improvement and effective teaching and learning
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
- Experience in areas such as SEND, SEMH, behaviour, safeguarding, curriculum or pastoral leadership is welcomed
- A commitment to improving outcomes and opportunities for children and young people
- NPQ qualifications are desirable where relevant
- Open to a range of leadership opportunities across different school settings
