Hours: 11:30–14:30, Monday – Friday

Role Overview

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising pupils during lunch, both in the dining hall and on the playground. You will help create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment while encouraging positive behaviour and supporting children’s social development. You will work closely with school staff to ensure pupils have a positive lunchtime experience and that school policies are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise pupils during lunch in the dining hall, playground, and other designated areas
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils throughout the lunchtime period
  • Encourage positive behaviour and respectful interactions between children
  • Promote inclusive play and support pupils in developing positive friendships
  • Respond appropriately to minor incidents and report any concerns to senior staff
