We’re placing SEN Learning Support Assistants across North London schools and alternative provisions — and right now demand is outpacing supply, particularly for candidates with SEMH experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working 1:1 or in small groups with students who have social, emotional and mental health needs
- Supporting in-class learning, de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies
- Building consistent, trusting relationships with young people who find school hard
What we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting young people with SEMH, EBSA, trauma or complex needs (school or community setting)
- A calm, grounded approach — you don’t rattle easily
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
