This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic early years professional to support children during their most important stages of development. The nursery provides a nurturing, play-based environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow in a safe and supportive space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the care, learning, and development of children aged 0–5
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress accurately
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers
  • Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development
  • Ensure safeguarding and welfare procedures are followed at all times

The Ideal Candidate

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent) preferred
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • A warm, patient, and nurturing approach
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Passionate about supporting children’s early development and wellbeing
