Milk Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming nursery setting in Newham, who are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic early years professional to support children during their most important stages of development. The nursery provides a nurturing, play-based environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow in a safe and supportive space.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the care, learning, and development of children aged 0–5
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress accurately
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare procedures are followed at all times
The Ideal Candidate
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent) preferred
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A warm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about supporting children’s early development and wellbeing
