We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Tower Hamlets who are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to support teaching and learning across the school. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced educators looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a secondary setting.
The Role
- Supervise classes during teacher absence, delivering pre-set work
- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour
- Support pupils to stay on task and engaged with their learning
- Follow school policies and procedures at all times
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
The Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable)
- Is confident managing a classroom of secondary-aged pupils
- Has strong communication and organisational skills
- Is adaptable, professional, and proactive
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply)
