Milk Education is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant to support a welcoming Primary School in the L21 area. This role involves providing 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with ADHD, helping them remain engaged, confident, and successful within the classroom. You'll work closely with the SENCO and wider support team to deliver personalised strategies and targeted interventions that help the child thrive both academically and emotionally. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping learners in upper KS2 who benefit from consistent, structured, and nurturing support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 support tailored to the pupil's individual needs and learning plan
  • Assist a Year 5 child with ADHD in accessing curriculum activities and staying focused
  • Help implement behaviour regulation strategies and positive reinforcement
  • Promote independence, resilience, and self-confidence
  • Support the delivery of targeted interventions to aid progress

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN/SEND, particularly ADHD (preferred)
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (essential)
  • Patience, consistency, and a supportive approach
  • Confidence in providing emotional and academic support
  • Previous experience in a school or nursery environment
