We’re currently recruiting a part-time Teaching Assistant to work in Year 3 at a Primary School in Aigburthon a long-term basis, starting in September.

This role is part-time and requires 15 hours and 30 minutes per week.

The working hours are 12:30- 15:30, and two evenings a week you will be working in the after-school club until 16:00.

The school is looking for someone who wants to be taken on a direct permanent contract after working on temporary supply.

There are also roles available that are full-time!

Your main responsibilities will include

  • Providing one-to-one support and group support for children in Year 3
  • Keeping the children engaged and on task throughout the school day
  • Preparing daily resources and supporting learning activities
  • Fostering a positive, nurturing learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff

Requirements or Skills

  • Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly SEMH and ASD
  • Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to supporting the child’s academic and emotional development
