Role Overview
Milk Education is recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming, two‑form entry primary school in the L21 area of Liverpool. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to develop their practice within a supportive Key Stage 2 setting. You will take full responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging and well‑structured lessons that support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally during their transition into KS2.
Classroom & School Support
- Two‑form entry primary school rooted in the local community
- Experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant working alongside you
- Additional SEN Teaching Assistant support where required
- Supportive and collaborative KS2 and senior leadership team
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑structured learning environment
- Differentiating learning to support pupils with SEN and additional needs
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and a love of learning
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
- Contribute to reports, assessments, and parent communication
- Work closely with colleagues, the SENCO, and senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply
- Experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3 desirable)
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN is beneficial
- Strong classroom organisation and behaviour management skills
- A creative, inclusive, and child‑centred approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
