Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in North Liverpool to work on a long-term or short-term basis starting as soon as possible! You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic environment for those with additional needs. This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
- Support the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis while responding to their individual needs
- Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
- Deliver catch-up sessions
Essential Qualifications:
- Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
- Must have a passion for education.
- Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher.
- Must have experience using Personal Care.
