Milk Education is partnering with a well-regarded primary school in North Liverpool (L9 area) to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEND Support Staff for a full-time, long-term role starting immediately. This role will continue into Jan 2027. This SEND Support Staff position involves working one-to-one with KS1 SEND pupils with additional needs. The hours are Monday – Friday 8.30–3.15pm. The role will start from September, but if suitable and available prior, there may be an opportunity to start in June onwards to help build rapport with the child.

The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and highly adaptable to the individual learning needs of each child. You will play a key role in supporting the pupil’s educational and emotional development within a structured and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support for a KS1 pupil with additional needs
  • Supporting children with ASD, ADHD and additional needs
  • Keep the child engaged and on task throughout the school day
  • Prepare daily resources and support learning activities
  • Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
