We’re currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary in the L4 area of Liverpool on a long-term basis starting in September. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand. You’ll be joining a supportive, inclusive school that puts wellbeing and community at the center of everything they do. Responsibilities
- Supporting a child on a one-to-one basis with ASD, and supporting the wider reception class in small groups, responding to their individual needs in the afternoon.
- Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps.
- Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong.
Qualifications
- Recent experience working in a school or education setting.
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team.
