We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Classroom Support professional to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in managing challenging behaviour and creating a safe, structured learning environment
- Deliver targeted interventions to support students’ social, emotional, and mental health needs
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans
- Encourage positive relationships and help students develop resilience and coping strategies
- Monitor and report on students’ progress and wellbeing
Person Specification:
- Proven experience working with children with SEN, preferably in SEMH settings
- Skilled in managing challenging behaviour with patience and consistency
- Strong understanding of social, emotional, and mental health needs
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
