At Milk Education – Liverpool (L25), we’re excited to be supporting a welcoming primary school in search of a committed and nurturing Year 2 SATs Teaching Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who loves helping young learners grow in confidence and is passionate about making a real difference during this key assessment period.
The Role of Year 2 SATs Teaching Assistant:
- Deliver small-group and 1:1 interventions in Reading, Writing & Maths
- Support pupils with phonics, comprehension and number fluency
- Help prepare pupils for Year 2 SATs in a calm and confidence-building way
- Work closely with the class teacher to adapt support based on pupil needs
- Create a positive, encouraging learning environment where all children can thrive
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced working across KS1 (Year 2 experience ideal)
- Confident supporting phonics and early literacy
- Patient, nurturing, and able to motivate young learners
- Great at following planning and delivering structured interventions
- A positive team player with strong communication skills
A TA qualification is beneficial, but your enthusiasm and commitment to supporting young children matter most.
