Milk Education is looking for a dedicated and passionate Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the Liverpool (L5) area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child’s early learning journey while enjoying flexible working hours to suit your schedule.
You’ll be working in a nurturing community school alongside a supportive and experienced team. The role involves providing 1:1 support to a Reception pupil with ASD, helping them to thrive both academically and socially within the classroom environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the inclusion and wellbeing of all pupils in the classroom.
- Providing 1:1 tailored support to a Reception pupil with ASD.
- Assisting with lesson planning, evaluation, and delivery alongside the class teacher.
- Delivering engaging catch-up and intervention sessions where needed.
- Helping create a positive and stimulating learning environment for all children.
Requirements:
- Recent and relevant experience within an education or childcare setting, ideally supporting children with SEN.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or equivalent) – or relevant practical experience.
- A genuine passion for supporting young learners and helping them reach their full potential.
- Ability to work effectively under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
